# BeadApp Privacy Policy

**Effective October 7, 2026 · version 1.2**

This Privacy Policy explains how **Korfi LLC**, doing business as **Korfi** ("we", "us", "our"), handles information in connection with BeadApp (the "Service").

## What We Collect

- **Account data** — your email address and, if provided, your name, display name, and profile photo.
- **Content you create** — the patterns, designs, images, and project metadata you save or share through the Service.
- **Usage data** — basic technical and analytics information generated as you use the Service (for example, which features you use and error logs), used to operate and improve the Service.

## How We Use Your Information

We use your information to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service; to provide cloud sync and account features; and as otherwise described in our [Terms of Use](terms-of-use.html). Your Content is also subject to the license described in the Terms of Use.

We do not use your patterns, designs, images, or other Creator Content, whether private or published, to train artificial-intelligence models. Processing Content to provide the Design Assistant or Realistic Preview is distinct from using it to train a model. Any future proposal to use previously submitted Content for training would require separate, affirmative agreement to that use.

## Session Recordings (Microsoft Clarity)

On the BeadApp studio at beadapp.io we use Microsoft Clarity, a free analytics tool from Microsoft, to record how people use the app (for example clicks, scrolling and which screens are open) so we can find and fix confusing parts. Text you type into fields, your email address and your name are masked and are not visible in recordings. We do not send your account ID, email or name to Clarity. Microsoft processes this data on our behalf under the [Microsoft Privacy Statement](https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement).

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask first and record only if you choose Allow. Elsewhere, recording is on unless you turn it off. You can change your choice at any time: open **Profile Settings** and use the **Session recordings** switch, or use **Session recordings** in the Help menu.

## How Your Information Is Stored

Account data and saved Content are stored using Google Firebase (Authentication and Firestore). We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

## Sharing

**We do not sell your personal information to third parties.** We share information only with service providers (such as Google Firebase) that help us operate the Service, and as required by law.

## Your Choices

You may request access to, correction of, or **deletion of** your account and associated personal data by contacting us at **hello@korfi.io**. We will respond within a reasonable time, subject to any legal retention obligations.

## Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the version number and effective date above.
